Job Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent pediatric experience required. License: Must be licensed in Maryland. Certifications: Preferred certifications not specified. Must-Have: Pediatric experience required. Description: Pediatric Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience is needed. This position offers 40 hours guaranteed per week, Monday through Thursday. No weekends are required. The patient age range is from birth to 21 years. Primary diagnoses and conditions treated include cerebral palsy, autism, and genetic/developmental conditions. The expected caseload is 25 billed hours per week, with schedules averaging 29-30 hours to accommodate cancellations. Expectations for productivity are 25 billed hours per week. The evaluation versus treatment mix is 1-2 evaluations per week. Documentation is performed using a specified system. Sessions are typically conducted in a one-on-one format, with occasional co-treatments for enhanced quality of care. Support staff is available, including approximately half a rehabilitation technician. The facility is well-equipped with therapy equipment, including a sensory gym and feeding tools.
