Key Responsibilities of the Acute Care Staff Occupational Therapist- Conduct evaluations, treatment interventions, and documentation
- Participate in team conferences and utilize modalities if able
- Manage high volume caseload and dynamic scheduling
- Communicate with interdisciplinary team for patient safety and discharge planning
- Supervise certified occupational therapist assistants, aides, and students
Requirements of the Acute Care Staff Occupational Therapist- Current BLS Certification
- Occupational Therapy licensure
- Experience in acute care settings
