Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $2,892 per week in Boston, MA

Acute Care. Position will have a primary team/service area. 8-hour day on M-F. Potential need for occasional weekend coverage.SummaryHelps people of all ages to participate in the activities and occupations that are important to them. YesEssential Functions-Conduct assessments of patients' physical, mental, and developmental abilities.-Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments.-Implement and monitor treatment plans, adjusting as needed.-Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic activities and exercises they can do at home.-Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care.-Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress notes.-Attend staff meetings, continuing education programs, and professional development activities to stay current with new techniques and best practices.ExperienceExperience completing internship or apprenticeship program. 1-2 years preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities-Ability to work effectively with patients and co-workers.-Knowledge of medical terminology.-Excellent time management skills.-Good oral and written communication skills.-Excellent interpersonal skills required.
