Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $65 to $75 per hour in Auburn, WA

Duration: 12 Months to Long-Term

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Standard Day Shift (37.5 Hours/Week)

Summary:

• Occupational Therapist (OT) position is a school-based educational services role focused on helping students with disabilities access and participate in their educational programs.
• The therapist collaborates with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' functional performance in the least restrictive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations using appropriate assessment tools.
• Interpret assessment results and determine student eligibility for OT services.
• Participate as a member of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team.
• Develop measurable OT goals and objectives within students' IEPs.
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services according to IEPs.
• Support students' participation in classroom, school, and functional activities.
• Recommend and implement environmental modifications and adaptive equipment.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, Medicaid billing (where applicable), service logs, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state special education regulations, district policies, and ethical standards.
• Manage schedules and caseloads across assigned schools.
