Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services in an outpatient setting, comprising approximately 90% of the caseload, serving both adult and pediatric patients
- Treat a diverse outpatient caseload including orthopedic, neurological, and fine motor conditions across adult (approximately 70%) and pediatric (approximately 30%) populations
- Perform basic splinting for hand therapy patients as needed
- Provide acute care coverage for adult and geriatric patients when outpatient volume is low or when coverage is needed
- Participate in on-call rotation for acute stroke cases on holidays (acute care and morning shift only), with required arrival at facility within 30 minutes of receiving a call
Required Qualifications- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of North Carolina
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in both adult and pediatric outpatient occupational therapy
- Ability to provide acute care coverage for adult and geriatric patients as needed
- Ability to respond to on-call requests and arrive at the facility within 30 minutes
Preferred Experience / Skills- Basic splinting skills, particularly for hand therapy patients
- Background in acute care occupational therapy with adult and geriatric populations
- Experience with neurological and orthopedic outpatient caseloads
