Contract | Days | 5x8 Hours (8:00–16:30) | Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday availability required, including weekend shift commitment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services within an acute care hospital setting
• Evaluate and treat patients across a range of diagnoses appropriate to acute care
• Document patient care and progress using the Epic electronic health record system
• Participate in holiday coverage, committing to work 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Float to sister facilities nearby the contracted facility as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid California Occupational Therapist (OT) license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at time of candidate submission — post-offer RTO may not be granted
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility to be considered a local candidate; locals are accepted at a lower rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic charting system
• Flexibility with scheduling, including block schedule availability (subject to manager discretion)
• Prior experience in an acute care hospital environment
