Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | No weekend or holiday requirements
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services primarily in an acute inpatient setting, with potential coverage of surgical ortho patients
- Treat a varied caseload including total shoulder arthroplasty, shoulder scopes, pediatric patients, hand and upper extremity injuries, pelvic floor, vestibular, and hand therapy
- Perform splint fabrication as part of patient treatment plans
- Manage an inpatient caseload ranging from 5–12 patients per day; outpatient caseload generally up to 8 patients per day if applicable
- Complete department-specific orientation prior to beginning ortho patient treatments, including required in-house ortho education
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary rehab team including OTRs, COTAs, and PRN staff
Required Qualifications- Active Wisconsin Occupational Therapist license or application in progress at time of submittal
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience
- Completion of 8 hours of in-house ortho education required prior to treating ortho patients
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous experience with EPIC electronic health records system
- Prior travel therapy experience preferred
- Outpatient occupational therapy experience a plus
