Contract | 12 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 32 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized occupational therapy treatment to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, debility, amputation, cardiac conditions, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic injuries
- Manage a caseload of 5–6 patients per day, delivering primarily 1:1 treatment with some group therapy sessions
- Utilize facility EHR systems (UDS Prodoc, Pinpoints) for accurate and timely documentation
- Operate and apply DME and therapy equipment appropriate to patient needs and treatment goals
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life
- Maintain current Occupational Therapist licensure and BLS certification throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) required
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) state license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) experience strongly preferred
- Experience treating a geriatric patient population
- Familiarity with common acute rehab diagnoses including stroke, brain injury, SCI, amputation, and orthopedic conditions
- Cooperative, team-oriented personality with a collaborative approach to patient care
