Occupational Therapist (OT) – Travel Contract
LocationCedar Rapids, Iowa
Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday, Business Hours (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with some flexibility)
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to patients within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to support functional recovery and independence
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions aligned with each patient's rehabilitation goals
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members to coordinate patient care
Required Qualifications- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid in the state of Iowa
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
- Proficiency or ability to work within Epic EMR
- Ability to adhere to business casual dress code requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in an acute rehabilitation or inpatient rehab unit setting
- Familiarity with ARU workflows and rehabilitation-focused patient populations
