Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, delivering intensive therapy to stroke and orthopedic patients requiring up to 3 hours of therapy per day
• Evaluate and treat patients in an acute care setting who require therapy intervention prior to discharge home or transition to the next level of care
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and functional outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and support safe discharge planning
• Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid in the state of Texas or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification required or eligible
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation, acute rehab, or acute care settings

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with stroke and/or orthopedic patient populations
• Familiarity with intensive inpatient rehab protocols and acute care discharge planning
• Strong interdisciplinary communication and team collaboration skills
