Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 8-hour shifts, 5 days/week (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM), including weekends
Key Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an acute rehab setting, with potential float to outpatient as needed
Evaluate and treat patients across a range of diagnoses including stroke, COVID, critical care, general medical, oncology, med-surg (abdominal, podiatry, total joint, spine), COPD, and CHF
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery and functional independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
Active Georgia Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 18 months of occupational therapy experience required
Experience in acute care and/or rehabilitation settings required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience treating neurological conditions such as stroke or spinal injuries
Familiarity with outpatient occupational therapy settings
Experience working with oncology or critical care patient populations
