Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Day Shift | Tuesday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Onsite | Projected Start: September 14, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services within an acute care setting, including evaluation and treatment of up to 12 patients per day
• Focus on standard mobility and activities of daily living (ADL) for a diverse patient population
• Work with complex trauma and complex neurological patients as needed
• Float and provide coverage across all areas of the hospital as required
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic medical records system
• Cover one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) each week throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of experience, including acute care experience or clinical rotations in an acute care setting
• Ability to work autonomously with a high level of accountability
• Familiarity with standard rehabilitation equipment
• Willingness to float to all areas of the hospital as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with complex trauma patients
• Experience working with complex neurological patient populations
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
