Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to help patients improve, recover, or maintain daily living and working skills
• Recommend and train patients on the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment
• Modify and adapt environments to support patient independence and safety
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process
• Monitor and document patient progress toward established goals

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
• Active Texas OT license or compact state license recognized in Texas
• Ability to work within a long-term care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
• Experience creating personalized care plans aligned with meaningful patient goals
