Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Assignment | Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans within a skilled nursing facility setting
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional independence in daily activities
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and family members on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications- Current and valid Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Oregon
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current NBCOT certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar post-acute care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with MDS documentation and Medicare guidelines in a SNF setting
