Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Full-Time | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in accordance with facility standards and care plans
- Evaluate and treat patients to improve functional independence and quality of life
- Document patient progress and treatment plans using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
- Float within the contracted facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
- Participate in required onboarding modules and annual compliance training
Required Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license (must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
- Ability to float between the contracted facility and nearby sister facilities
- 2 professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
- Requested time off (RTO) limited to no more than 7 days
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel therapy experience preferred
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Familiarity with acute care or hospital-based occupational therapy settings
