Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services within an acute care setting
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to support functional recovery
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve patients' daily living skills and independence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Louisiana (or eligibility to obtain)
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of occupational therapy experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
• Prior inpatient or outpatient therapy experience strongly preferred
