Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to patients within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to restore or improve functional abilities
- Implement therapeutic interventions focused on activities of daily living, motor skills, and cognitive rehabilitation
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
Required Qualifications- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid in the state of Kansas (compact license not accepted for pending applicants)
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
- Must hold current, active state licensure at time of submission — pending licenses will not be considered
- Ability to work in an acute rehabilitation hospital environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience working in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
- Familiarity with Smart Facility rehab environments
