    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
    • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical record documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
    • Design functional treatment programs focused on progressing patients toward discharge and effective return to community activities.
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients while ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations.
    • Adhere to state Practice Act and regulatory requirements, maintain professional licensure in good standing, and actively pursue continuing education and professional development.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Texas.
    • Ability to complete comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
    • Proficiency in medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines.
    • Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional codes of conduct and ethical standards.
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety practices including safe patient handling and infection control protocols.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an outpatient therapy setting.
    • Experience supervising or mentoring therapy students or clinical affiliates.
    • Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiative participation.
