The Occupational Therapist (OT) evaluates, plans, and implements individualized treatment programs to help patients develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills. This role supports participants in achieving optimal independence, safety, and quality of life through therapeutic interventions aligned with interdisciplinary care plans.
What is PACE?
PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a federal and state funded program that provides comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to help maintain and improve seniors' health so they can live safely in their homes. There are 180 PACE programs, serving more than 80,700 participants in 33 states.
The number of people aged 55+ is increasing in Grand Junction, CO and the demand for eldercare professionals is on the rise.
You Bring:
Bachelor s, Master s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program required.
1-3 years experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred.
1 years experience working with elderly and frail population required.
Currently registered as an occupational therapist by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and licensed in the State of Colorado and maintained throughout employment
Valid driver s license, unlimited access to reliable transportation, and adequate automobile insurance are maintained throughout employment.
