Job Details:

• Must follow facility guidelines for personal appearance, attendance, and punctuality• 13-week assignment
• 20 hours per week
• Plan, organize, develop, administer, direct, and supervise occupational therapy treatment in accordance with federal, state, and local standards
• Assess patient's level of functioning upon physician orders
• Plan and implement appropriate treatment based upon assessment
• Participate in interdisciplinary team process and discharge planning
• Complete appropriate documentation according to department policy and procedures
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and OT/COTA students
• Assist with new staff orientation
• Complete initial patient evaluations and treatment plans
• Attend team conferences and provide pertinent information
• Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate safety techniques
• Communicate with patients and family members at their level of understanding
• Required certifications: BLS certification required prior to first shift
• Must hold a valid, current state license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
