Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients per physician orders and referrals
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
• Deliver skilled occupational therapy services to improve patient independence in daily living skills
• Document all services accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with applicable practice acts and facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and patient families to support comprehensive care

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
• Active state Occupational Therapy license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
• Proficient documentation and communication skills
• Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with state, federal, and facility safety and regulatory standards
