Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting throughout the academic year
- Evaluate and treat students with a variety of developmental, physical, and functional needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support planning
Required Qualifications- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Alaska
- Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current NBCOT certification (OTR)
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in a pediatric or school-based environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience working within a school district or special education setting
- Familiarity with IEP development and federal special education regulations (IDEA)
- Experience with Extended School Year (ESY) programming
