Contract | Days | Full-Time (40 hours per week) | Onsite | Weekend availability required

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions in alignment with department objectives
  • Serve as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups
  • Float between inpatient acute care and inpatient acute rehabilitation settings on a daily basis
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in Neuro and ICU settings
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using required electronic medical record systems
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) required (if licensure obtained on or after January 2007); foreign equivalent accepted
  • Active Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of practice required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
  • EPIC and Cerner experience within the last 5 years required; each work history entry must specify the charting system used, with dates provided if multiple EMR systems were used at the same organization
  • Strong clinical skills in an acute inpatient hospital setting and inpatient acute rehabilitation required
  • Must be available to work weekends, including potentially all weekend shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Minimum of two years of occupational therapy experience in a hospital or acute rehabilitation setting preferred
  • Experience in Neuro and/or ICU patient populations preferred
