Occupational Therapist (OT) – NICU

Contract | Travel | Days (6:45 AM – 2:30 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to neonatal patients within a 21-bed NICU setting
• Manage a caseload of NICU patients, delivering therapy sessions 3 to 5 times per week
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Speech Therapy within the NICU
• Document patient assessments, progress, and treatment plans using MEDHOST EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in the State of Texas
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience with a concentration in NICU
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working with MEDHOST electronic medical records system
• Strong familiarity with neonatal patient care protocols and developmental therapy approaches
