Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Onsite | Expected 36 hours/week | Weekend coverage expected approximately once per month
Key Responsibilities
Provide individualized occupational therapy treatment to patients recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury, debility, and related conditions in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting
Develop and implement customized rehabilitation plans aimed at maximizing patient independence, function, and quality of life
Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately using EPIC and Rehab Connect electronic health record systems
Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support each patient's recovery journey
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and team members in both verbal and written English
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Valid OT licensure/certification required
Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
Basic computer knowledge and proficiency with electronic health record systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to work cooperatively as a team player in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehabilitation hospital settings
Familiarity with treating patients diagnosed with stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, or debility
Experience with EPIC and/or Rehab Connect EHR platforms
