Key Responsibilities- Perform ADL evaluations and therapeutic treatments across adult and pediatric acute inpatient, ICU, and inpatient rehabilitation settings
- Conduct approximately 9 evaluations and 16 treatments per day
- Provide documentation justifying next level of care in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Cover a broad range of service areas including trauma, neuro, ortho, general med/surg, oncology, stroke specialty, and pediatric and adult rehab programs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including rehab aides and COTAs
- Adhere to facility scheduling requirements including weekend and holiday rotations with core staff
Required Qualifications- Active Wisconsin Occupational Therapist state license (must be obtained prior to credentialing deadline)
- Experience in acute inpatient and/or ICU settings with adult and pediatric populations
- Proficiency in ADL evaluation and clinical documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to cover multiple service areas as needed
- Strong teamwork and collaborative skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation, stroke specialty programs, or Level 2 trauma center environments
- Familiarity with same-day discharge joint programs and oncology patient populations
- Prior experience working alongside COTAs and rehab aides in a high-volume setting
