Evaluate hospitalized patients to assess physical and cognitive functional status
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring daily living skills
Work toward safe and appropriate patient discharge planning
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams within an inpatient setting
Document patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as clinically indicated
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR) and Acute Care Occupational Therapy experience — required
Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers and may be subject to an adjusted travel rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a tertiary or teaching hospital environment
Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center patient populations
Experience with cardiovascular, oncology, or orthopedic patient caseloads
