Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | No Weekends or Holidays | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services across both inpatient and outpatient settings (approximately 60% inpatient / 40% outpatient)
- Evaluate and treat patients to improve functional independence and quality of life
- Perform post-operative splint fabrication as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current and valid OT licensure in the state of Vermont (or eligibility to obtain)
- NBCOT certification (or eligibility)
- Experience providing occupational therapy in both inpatient and outpatient environments
- Proficiency in splint fabrication techniques
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a critical access or rural hospital setting
- Familiarity with post-operative rehabilitation protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working within a multidisciplinary team
