    Key Responsibilities
    • Plan, organize, develop, administer, direct, and supervise occupational therapy treatment in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and guidelines
    • Assess patients' level of functioning upon physician orders and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient and family goals
    • Participate in the interdisciplinary team process, including team conferences, and collaborate with other team members to provide optimal patient care
    • Coordinate discharge planning for each patient, including placement recommendations, patient and family education, and adaptive equipment issuance and training
    • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and OT/COTA students in the application of occupational therapy theory and techniques
    • Complete all required documentation, including initial evaluations, daily progress notes, treatment programs, and discharge disposition, in accordance with department policy and within defined timeframes
    Required Qualifications
    • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Oklahoma
    • Ability to assess patient functioning and develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on diagnosis and medical record review
    • Demonstrated knowledge of safe patient handling, infection control, and general workplace safety practices
    • Strong documentation skills with the ability to complete evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and on time
    • Ability to supervise support staff and students competently and assist with new staff orientation
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team environment
    • Familiarity with adaptive equipment selection, issuance, and patient and family training
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage patients, families, and team members at appropriate levels of understanding
