Occupational Therapist – Rehab Hospital Therapy

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | 4x10-hour shifts, Wednesday–Saturday, varied shifts; schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families/caregivers across therapy settings within the health system
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care, delivering occupational therapy services through time of discharge
  • Address self-care activities, ADL skills, and community reintegration as part of a holistic treatment approach
  • Contribute to the interdisciplinary team by providing ongoing patient care input and participating in comprehensive discharge planning
  • Float to other like facilities and settings based on census and organizational needs, up to competency level
  • Participate in program development and outcome measurements in the clinical setting as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Active State of Nevada Occupational Therapy License, or ability to obtain one; Provisional License acceptable until full licensure is issued
  • Current AHA BLS and CPR certification required upon hire
  • Minimum of two years of clinical occupational therapy experience
  • Ability to provide direct patient care across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
  • Willingness to float between like facilities based on departmental and organizational needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care hospital setting
  • Familiarity with post-acute care environments and interdisciplinary team collaboration
  • Experience with program development or clinical outcome measurement initiatives
