Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and daily living skills
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of New Mexico
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current NBCOT certification
- Experience working in a post-acute or skilled nursing care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with PACS (Post-Acute Care Setting) environments
- Experience with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
