Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments to patients within a 28-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans appropriate for an acute care setting
• Document patient progress and clinical notes using Meditech charting system
• Participate in facility, department, and floor orientation prior to independent patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery and rehabilitation goals

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of California
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association
• Ability to step in and independently provide treatments in an inpatient setting upon clearance
• Willingness to comply with facility dress code (professional scrubs, any color; no other facility names or logos permitted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred; new graduates will also be considered
• Prior experience in an acute care or inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic health record systems
