    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Perform 60-minute evaluations and treatments, managing a full hand therapy caseload including splint fabrication
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
    • Ensure all care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance authorizations as required
    • Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
    • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements while maintaining professional licensure in good standing
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Occupational Therapist licensure in good standing in the state of California
    • Demonstrated hand therapy experience, including comfort with splint fabrication and management of a full hand caseload
    • Prior outpatient occupational therapy experience required; new graduates will not be considered
    • Ability to work 40 hours per week conducting 60-minute evaluations and treatments
    • Proficiency in clinical documentation, goal writing, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with functional quality indicator assessments and letters of medical necessity
    • Active involvement in continuing education and professional development within occupational therapy
    • Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies in a clinical setting
