Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8 Hours, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Must be available to work weekends
Key Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services in an acute care inpatient hospital setting
Evaluate and treat orthopedic patients, including those seen on the day of surgery
Deliver therapy services across a 7-day-per-week schedule, including weekends and select holidays
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Float to sister facilities nearby the contracted location as needed
Required Qualifications
Active Occupational Therapist license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
Current BLS certification
NBCOT certification required
Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
Inpatient orthopedic experience required
Must be willing to work weekends and commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Preferred Experience / Skills
ICU experience is helpful
Prior travel contract experience in an acute care environment
