Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records
- Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques to support continued care and safety
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Arkansas
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- BLS Certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Familiarity with state and federal regulatory requirements in a skilled/LTC environment
