Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans within a skilled nursing facility setting
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to patients to restore, maintain, or improve functional abilities
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Idaho
- Current NBCOT certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with MDS documentation and Medicare/Medicaid compliance in a SNF environment
