Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on occupational therapy in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records
- Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques to support continued care and safety
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Washington
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment
- Comfort working with a high volume of skilled patients
