The Occupational Therapist (OT) will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient acute care setting. The OT will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to improve patients’ functional independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living and functional skills
Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home programs
Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
