Travel Occupational Therapist (OT)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities- Perform occupational therapy evaluations for patients across a high-volume acute care setting with approximately 250 active consults per day
- Deliver OT treatments with a typical caseload of 8–10 patients per day
- Work independently with a high degree of accountability in care planning and patient management
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to address the needs of a diverse patient population across multiple diagnosis groups
- Utilize general acute care DME and document within a Meditech EMR system
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 6 months of acute care hospital occupational therapy experience
- Active Kansas (KS) OT licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and strong accountability
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic nature of acute care practice
Preferred Experience / Skills- Trauma experience in an acute care setting
- Comprehensive stroke experience
