Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients per physician orders and referrals
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
• Deliver skilled occupational therapy services to improve patient independence in daily living skills
• Accurately and timely document all therapy services provided
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with applicable practice acts and facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and patient families to support coordinated care

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
• Active state Occupational Therapy license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
• Proficient documentation skills with attention to accuracy and timeliness
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and care teams
• Ability to maintain compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory standards
