Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 5x8s with flex weekend coverage 2–3 days/month or 4x10 (Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat) | Rotating holidays | No self-scheduling
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in an acute inpatient setting, covering the Emergency Department and Med/Surg units
- Manage a caseload of 8–10 patients per day across a variety of case types including total joints, CVA, CHF, COPD, and sepsis
- Interpret and apply laboratory values and pathology findings to guide treatment planning
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
- Participate in rotating holiday coverage as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapist (OT) license in hand at time of start
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated understanding of pathology and laboratory values in a clinical setting
- Strong interdisciplinary communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting
- Familiarity with treatment of total joint, neurological, and cardiopulmonary patient populations
