Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Outpatient (OT OP) in LUTZ, Florida. This role involves evaluating outpatient patients, developing and implementing treatment plans focused on hand therapy and splint fabrication, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position requires hands-on therapy experience, including comfort with making splints and managing a full hand caseload.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school, 1 year of outpatient clinical experience, hand therapy experience including splint fabrication, active and applicable license for Florida, CPR certification, and 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Successful prior assignment with the agency or organization is highly desired; previous experience with the organization is considered a plus.
• Additional Information: Provides comprehensive outpatient occupational therapy services, including evaluation, treatment planning, and patient education. Maintains documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory guidelines. Participates in professional development activities and adheres to state practice acts and organizational policies. Demonstrates commitment to safety and quality patient care, with a focus on functional recovery and patient safety.
