Job Summary Occupational Therapist Outpatient (OT OP) The organization is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist for an outpatient setting. This role involves evaluating and developing individualized treatment plans to improve patients' functional performance, independence, and quality of life, working within an acute care environment.
Job Details
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current BLS certification within 90 days of hire, evidence of current NBCOT registration or fulfillment within 12 months, effective interpersonal skills, professional appearance, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, strong communication skills, and 2+ years of experience.
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential work from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM one to two days per month; 40 hours per week, including two weekends per month.
Responsibilities include performing evaluations, creating and implementing individual treatment plans, re-evaluations, patient education, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring safe discharge planning.
Additional requirements include proficiency in EPIC charting, license to submit, and certification in BLS and Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR).
The start date is 10/19/2026, with the assignment ending on 01/18/2027.
This role is situated in an acute care division, with a trauma level 3 designation, and involves working in an outpatient setting with no call required.
