Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Outpatient (OT Outpatient) in Zephyrhills, Florida. This position involves evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans to promote functional recovery, with a focus on hand therapy and splinting. The role requires hands-on expertise, including making splints and managing a full hand caseload, within an outpatient setting.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school; hand experience required; comfortable making splints; 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR certification; active and applicable license for Florida; must have successfully completed an assignment with the agency previously (highly desired); ability to complete a 1-year minimum experience requirement

  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: Evaluates assigned outpatient patients, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans aimed at discharge. Completes documentation accurately and timely, ensuring care aligns with physician orders and insurance approvals. Participates in student supervision and professional development activities. Adheres to state practice acts and maintains licensure in good standing. Demonstrates commitment to safety, quality improvement initiatives, and organizational values, including focus on patient and employee safety, safety awareness, and compliance with clinic guidelines.
