Travel Occupational Therapist - School (OT) - $2,506 per week in Mound City, MO

Job Summary (List Format):

- Evaluate residents functional abilities, including activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, cognition, and psychosocial factors.
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on assessments and physician orders.
- Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions to improve residents functional independence and quality of life.
- Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans according to residents progress and needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on safety and independence strategies.
- Recommend and instruct on the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and therapy aides as needed.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in electronic medical records.
- Maintain licensure and fulfill continuing education requirements as per state regulations.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and adhere to CMS, state, and facility policies and guidelines.
- Work in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting, requiring physical activity and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
