Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) | Venice, FL (13-Week Contract)

• Schedule: 5x8s (40 hours/week guaranteed)

• Setting: Outpatient / Rehab (varies by facility need)

We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a rehab team in Venice, Florida. This assignment offers a consistent 5x8 schedule with guaranteed hours, giving you the chance to help patients regain independence while enjoying the beauty of Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Requirements

• Active Florida OT license

• Current BLS certification

• Minimum 1 year of recent OT experience (rehab or outpatient preferred)

• Strong skills in patient assessment, activity-based therapy, and treatment planning

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans

• Guide patients in therapeutic activities to improve daily living and mobility

• Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab and care teams

• Educate patients and families on home programs and adaptive techniques

• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility and state requirements
