Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Oncology Chemotherapy – Portland, OR 97213

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Every other weekend required. Block scheduling required. Expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. Floating to other units based on skill sets is common.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience
• ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification required (Chemo ONS/ONCC)
• Current BLS certification
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in chemotherapy administration (IV, continuous infusion, oral), blood product administration, port management, central line care, and management of oncology emergencies including ATLS, anaphylaxis, extravasation, hemorrhage, sepsis, and spinal cord compression
• Experience with neutropenic precautions, chest tube management, and common oncology symptoms
• Reliable vehicle required for this assignment
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
