HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.

Registered Nurse – Med-Surg Oncology / Hematology
Shift: 12-Hour Days/Nights Rotating OR 12-Hour Nights
Experience: 2 Years RN Experience
First-Time Travelers: No
Required Experience: Med-Surg Oncology experience with at least 1 inpatient Hematology/Oncology experience required.
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ONS Chemotherapy Certification
Preferred: NIHSS
Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics; primarily newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients. High volume of blood products, IV antibiotics, and electrolytes.
Ratio: 1:4, may be 1:5
Weekends: Variable based on unit needs
Scheduling: No block/set scheduling; rotating days/nights based on unit needs
EMR: Epic
Key Skills: Med-Surg/Telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, blood products, IV therapy, central/PICC line care, phlebotomy, IV starts, feeding tube care, and Rapid Response experience.
Special Focus: Infection prevention and fall prevention.
