**Join Our Team as an Oncology Infusion Nurse!** **Job Description:** - Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of oncology patients? - As an Oncology Infusion Nurse, you will: - Administer chemotherapy IV fluids via peripherally inserted central catheters. - Identify, assess, and diagnose patient health problems through meaningful interactions. - Develop and implement educational programs for patients and families on post-discharge care. - Initiate patient care meetings with the healthcare team to adapt care plans as needed. - Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients. - Provide guidance and direction to healthcare team members to ensure exceptional patient care. - Stay current on advances in nursing through continuous education programs. - Help orient and educate new staff on nursing techniques and departmental procedures. - Oversee direct patient care in line with established protocols and physicians' orders. - Utilize your knowledge of medications, procedures, and safety precautions to initiate appropriate interventions in crisis situations. - Participate in total quality management initiatives to enhance patient and system outcomes. - Document patient care accurately in health records according to standards. - Direct and delegate care activities to team members. - Deliver safe, effective, and comprehensive infusion services to oncology patients. - Provide education and follow-up care for patients post-chemotherapy. **Requirements:** - Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s Degree preferred). - Minimum one (1) year of oncology experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Current BLS certification. - Must obtain OCN certification within one year of hire. - Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience. **Shift Information:** - Days; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
