Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring MI RN licensure and at least one year of RN experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Progressive Care Unit (11 East)
• Oncology patient population, including chemotherapy administration
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Oncology experience beneficial
• Must complete unit-based oncology course and orientation prior to administering non-vesicant chemotherapy
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course completion or OCN certification required to administer vesicant chemotherapy or care for patients actively receiving chemotherapy infusions

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on an oncology-focused Progressive Care Unit
• Administer chemotherapy per unit protocols based on certification and training level
